“Lily of the Heart” c. 2025

Approx. 7 feet tall

Concrete, paper mache, tape, moss, wood, wire, foam and yarn

Currently, the only show my artwork is in is the “Art in Bloom” group exhibition at Art 321 in Casper WY. The exhibit will be up and open to the public from May 1st, 2025 through May 30th, 2025.

My inspiration came from my childhood. My grandmother raised many different wild flowers and flowers that her grandparents had started from little seeds and she would teach me about them every summer I spent with her. I always found Lily of the Valley to be one of my favorites, along with the crocus, and when I was a teenager, I helped my mom transplant some to her house from my grandmothers. “Lily of the Heart” represents the connection I have with the plant and how it reminds me of my home and my family, where my heart will always reside and beat the strongest.
